Are you passionate about nature, beauty and history? Do you care about Northern Ireland’s special places, and standing up for our natural and built heritage? Do you want to see more people enjoying more access to our coast and countryside?
If so, you could play your part in supporting the National Trust, the leading conservation charity. The Trust is seeking to appoint new members to its voluntary Regional Advisory Group in Northern Ireland.
The Regional Advisory Group comprises volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life. It advises and supports the Trust’s management team in Northern Ireland across a wide range of conservation and business activities.
The Regional Advisory Group meets together four times a year and also works with individual members of the senior management team on specific issues as appropriate.
Whilst candidates from a wide range of disciplines are welcomed, we are currently especially interested in those who have experience in or are passionate about one or more of the following areas:
- Gardens and / or Garden History
- Climate Action
- Built Heritage/Architecture
- Tourism / Visitor attractions (could include catering, marketing, accommodation).
- Digital, Communications and Marketing including reputation risk management.
- Fundraising and campaigns

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Friday 16th February. The shortlisted applicants will be notified, and interviews will be held on one of the following dates:
Tuesday 5th March.
