Creating Impact Across Northern Ireland

We deliver a range of programmes that support organisations, communities and individuals to build skills, strengthen capacity and create lasting change.

Our programmes are often developed in partnership with funders and sector organisations, focusing on specific needs, communities or themes across Northern Ireland.

Community Empowerment Programme

The Community Empowerment Programme (CEP) supports communities across Belfast to shape their future, strengthen relationships and create local change.

Delivered with community partners, CEP offers accredited training, networking and community-led action planning to build leadership, confidence and collaboration.

Participants can get involved in local programmes, city-wide training and cross-community initiatives.

Funded through the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

ASCEND Programme

The ASCEND Programme supports organisations working with ethnically minoritised communities to strengthen leadership, build capacity and grow sustainably.

Through a tailored programme of mentoring, training, coaching and peer learning, participating organisations receive practical support to develop governance, fundraising, impact and collaboration.

Funded by Dormant Assets NI through The National Lottery Community Fund.

Faith-Based Engagement

Faith-based organisations play a vital role in supporting communities across Northern Ireland.

NICVA provides opportunities for engagement, training and collaboration to help strengthen this work and connect organisations across the sector.

This support recognises the unique reach and impact of faith-based organisations in local communities.

Supported through the Regional Infrastructure Support Programme (RISP)
