The Baxter International Foundation focuses its funding across three key areas:

1) Access to Healthcare

They are committed to collaborating with partners to be first on scene in times of crisis with high-quality product and resource donations; to improving access to healthcare through public and private partnerships; and to recognizing and celebrating health systems providers and public health research that advance clinical practice and expand patient treatment.

2) Our Communities

They are committed to saving and sustaining lives and creating stronger communities. Every day, they strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people who depend on their products, and in the communities where they live and work.

3) Fostering Innovation

They are helping nurture the next generation of scientific innovators, who will lead the way in defining tomorrow’s healthcare technologies. They partner with a number of organizations, including Northwestern University, Chicago Public Schools, and Illinois Science & Technology Institute to advance their Science@Work program.
