Clarion Housing: William Sutton Prize
Overview
There are two distinct prizes, but the common theme is the value they place on innovation and the potential of an idea to make a positive difference to a community.
A prize of up to £20,000 is available to the winner of both categories.
1) The William Sutton Prize for Social Innovation
This prize will be awarded to an individual or organisation that has developed a ground breaking new product, concept or service that will make a positive social impact on disadvantaged groups or communities.
Please make sure you read through the eligibility and assessment criteria before starting your form. Entrants do not need to be employed in the charity or third sector, but must be able to specify how their idea will make a positive social contribution.

2) The William Sutton Prize for Placemaking and Affordable Housing Design
This prize will be awarded to an individual or organisation that has developed a ground breaking design concept that will improve the quality of life and support the wellbeing of residents and communities.
Please make sure you read through the eligibility and assessment criteria before starting your form. Entrants do not need to currently work in the construction or design sector but all entries must demonstrate how excellence in design and placemaking can make a positive difference to their community.
