Is for EA registered local youth work organisations who directly deliver in communities across Northern Ireland including;
- Centre-Based Youth Work
- Area Based Youth Work
- Outreach or Detached Youth Work
Available For up to 3 years
Funding size Up to £130,000 per annum
Eligibility
EA registered local youth work organisations who deliver essential local youth work.
Eligibility Includes;
- Proven track record of quality local youth work delivery with the specified area
What can be funded
This funding will be for the essential direct delivery of local youth work for example;
- Centre-Based Youth Work
- Area Based Youth Work
- Outreach or Detached Youth Work
When Will This Funding Be Available?
Funding Opportunities will be publicly advertised on the EA Funding website. There will be availability of up to 3 years funding and up to an annual maximum of £130,000. This is subject to ongoing review in collaboration with the Department of Education.
What Can I Use This Funding For?
You can use this funding for core costs associated with the following;
- Staffing Salaries
- Programme Development
- Overheads

Applicants are required as part of the application process to submit an delivery plan of thematic youth work delivery. This must be completed using the template provided below. Your delivery plan must align to your relevant area Local Youth Development Plan
