- Supporting projects unlikely to be funded by others and those that benefit end-of-life care for marginalised groups within society.
Medical Electives
BY INVITATION ONLY
The Foundation has been committed to supporting medical students with their elective since its inception. All students are required to complete an elective towards the end of their medical training which involves them finding a placement hospital or medical facility to work in for 6-12 weeks, many of which are abroad.
The Foundation provides travel and living costs support to around 60 students through 7 teaching hospitals and encourages “out the ordinary” opportunities which positively impact the hosting facility.
