Overview

PBNI invites applications from organisations that can meet the requirements and deliver on the objectives of the programme in the Community and Voluntary Sector.

The successful applicant will deliver the required service from 1 November 2017 – 31 March 2018.

Level of Funding

PBNI will fund the successful grant applicant up to £20,000 in total and including VAT, to the end of March 2018, with potential extension in future years of additional £80,000 based on availability of funding and evaluation of the performance of the service in the first period to March 2018.

Evaluation Criteria

To be considered for this grant award it is essential that applicants provide detailed, concise responses addressing each area covered in the assessment criteria. The criteria for assessing all applications under the “PBNI Approved Premises Healthy Lifestyle Programme” is as summarised below.

  1. Organisation has the scale and skill-set to provide a healthy lifestyles programme tailored to offenders who are resident in PBNI approved premises, subject to PBNI supervision and can meet programme deliverables and current anticipated volumes.
  2. Organisation can demonstrate successful outcomes with delivery of a similar programme in terms of objectives and scale.
  3. Provide an overview of the programme delivery plan which demonstrates ability to deliver within specified timescale and funding arrangements.
  4. Provide details of the breakdown of proposed expenditure should funding application be successful.
