Overview
Today, in addition to providing business support services and business property, the Workspace Group is also involved in recruitment, training and employment initiatives, energy efficiency, event management, childcare and recreational activities.
These commercial activities are pursued to generate profits that are then used for the benefit for the local community.
The Workspace Community Fund will provide financial assistance to voluntary and community groups that want to make a positive impact in the local area.
Who can apply?
- This is a local fund targeted at community and voluntary groups in the Magherafelt District Council Area.
- Individual Awards are also available for people aged 18-30 within the Ballinascreen, Kilcronaghan or Desertmartin areas who have the potential to excel in the areas of arts, culture, sport or enterprise and are being restricted from doing so for financial reasons.
Amount of funding available:
Grants will not normally exceed £250

- Improve the local area
- Promote community involvement
- Enhance the quality of life and well being of local residents
- Address local need
