We're recruiting new Executive Committee members
Ahead of our AGM in December, we're looking for full NICVA members who would like to stand in elections for our Executive Committee.
Members can also submit resolutions which will be voted on at the AGM.
Approximately one third of our committee is elected each year, and your organisation is invited to nominate candidates. Our current Executive Committee members bring an exceptional breadth of skills, experience and expertise, together with a strong commitment to NICVA’s purpose and to effective governance.
As we build on their dedication and valued contribution, we welcome nominations from candidates who can bring similarly high levels of commitment and insight, alongside complementary skills and experience that reflect the breadth and diversity of Northern Ireland’s voluntary and community sector.

NICVA’s Standing Orders allow for resolutions to be put to the AGM by NICVA members. Any such resolutions must be lodged in writing with the Company Secretary by Wednesday 21 October 2026 and proposed and seconded by two full NICVA members, or by the Executive Committee. These may be accompanied by a short explanatory text. These and any amendments will be circulated to members.
