About the Role
The Berk Dragon Management Team is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chief Dragon Caretaker to oversee the wellbeing, training, and integration of dragons across the island. Working closely with local Vikings, you will help strengthen human-dragon relationships while ensuring the highest standards of dragon welfare.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver dragon training programmes.
- Monitor dragon health, behaviour, and wellbeing.
- Coordinate emergency responses to rogue dragon incidents.
- Support community engagement events and flying demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate records of dragon species and population data.
- Advise village leaders on dragon-related policies and best practice.
Personnel Specification
- Experience working with mythical creatures or large animals.
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Skills & experience requirements
- Qualification in Dragon Husbandry or Advanced Viking Studies.
- Experience riding Night Furies or similar rare species.
- Knowledge of fire safety and island risk management.
