Overview

The Mater Hospital is located on the Crumlin Road, Belfast and welcomes patients and their families daily attending a range of different services. 

The Meet and Greet role is based at Mater Atrium reception area and gives Volunteers the opportunity to support patients and their families. Suitable Volunteers should have an empathetic nature and the ability to converse with different types of people. 

It is an extremely rewarding role which is much appreciated by the patients and their families and gives Volunteers the chance to develop interpersonal skills and give back to their community.

Potential Volunteers should be 17+ and willing to undertake Access NI check before commencement.
