Post: Justice Services Administrator

Service: Justice Services

Reports To: Site Lead and Justice Services Manager

Base: Negotiable with successful candidate (HMP Maghaberry, HMP Magilligan or Hydebank Wood College) with some flexibility to work remotely

Contract: To 31 January 2025 (subject to continued funding)

Salary: £20,048.08 per annum, plus environmental allowance paid monthly (under review from 01 April 2024)

Background to the Service

AD:EPT drug and alcohol service is a multi-component addictions project based in the three establishments of the Northern Ireland Prison Service. It aims to address the drug and alcohol issues of service users of all age groups through a variety of interventions including casework, group work and counselling.

Main Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

  • Carry out administrative tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the service across two sites, to a high standard and within reasonable time limits;
  • Assist the Site Lead and the Justice Services Manager in producing reports both internally and externally, to a high standard and within reasonable time limits;
  • Manage referrals to the service from point of enquiry to allocation;
  • Maintain data within the Client Information System and prison databases within the service and to assist all staff in resolving any difficulties with these systems.
